    This paper introduces the reader to the basics of quantum physics and analyzes Quantum Key Distribution and Blind Quantum Computing as potential solutions to the cloud’s lack of security. Both solutions face technical challenges with regards to building a quantum computer. Additionally, a large amount of investment is required to allow engineers to find any significant breakthrough in this field. By demonstrating the ability to secure cloud computing not only from hackers but also from cloud providers, Blind Quantum Computing shows the most promise. Also by allowing users to use standard devices, this protocol is commercially viable and cost-effective.

    Since the first major stock exchange was created, investors have seen tremendous opportunities for economic growth. Accurately predicting movements of the stock market for profit has been an ever evolving challenge that has become increasingly feasible and achievable. From the initial advances in fundamental and technical analysis, to the recent boom of big data, many methods have been created to tackle this problem, with the latest one being Machine Learning (ML).
    Our project is based on the latter, using artificial intelligence to predict stock movements, based on public sentiment analysis following events. The goal of this research project is to capture the general consensus following news targeting a specific company, and correlating this opinion to the stock movement of that company.
