You know, recently I had a client who actually received the offer first because they were the person who asked the questions as they were preparing to present to the board. They were the people, They were the person who said who called up the person they would be recording to and said I'm preparing for our meeting. Here are my questions to help me prepare. No one else had done that. And she and she was the person asking the question. So then they got to see. Her, her thought process, right, and what that would look like. And so that exposed her to the hiring manager in a way that no one else positioned themselves and made the difference in who got the offer. We need to remember and especially sea level leaders, I don't think we always remember that we're not being hired to have all the answers. We're being hired to be strategic leaders, thoughtful partners with the board to understand how to see around corners, how to ask the hard questions that help you get to the answers that you need and hopefully lead a team in a collaborative manner.
