Liam Neeson, a very famous movie star, was happily married since 1994 to actress Natasha Richardson. Many people remember her from the movie "5 Star Love" with Jennifer Lopez, and she was also well-known as the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave. Natasha Richardson was only 45 years old when she died suddenly because of a tragic accident. On March 16, 2009, while on vacation in Mont-Tremblant, Canada, Natasha fell badly while skiing, even though she was skiing with an instructor. After the fall, she seemed okay and even joked about it. But later at the hotel, she started having very bad headaches. She was taken to a local hospital, and as her condition got worse, she was moved to Sacre-Coeur Hospital in Montreal. Liam joined her there because he was working on the movie "Thriller Chloe" in Montreal. Sadly, Natasha's condition did not get better. She was declared brain dead because of bleeding in her brain from the fall. Liam arranged to move her by private plane to Lennox Hill Hospital in New York so her family could say goodbye. Liam knew what to do because he and Natasha had talked about this before. Natasha had said she did not want to stay alive hooked up to machines and wanted to donate her organs if possible. That is what happened. Feeling deep pain, Liam later said: "Take a chance and go live life. Tell the people you love that you love them every day. Don't take any moment for granted. Life is worth living."
