At first, I hated how the Astronomer CEO story was spiraling online. It felt like a pile-on. It was going too far. More noise than signal. Then the team there did something I didn’t expect. They brought in Gwyneth Paltrow as a “temporary spokesperson.” It was FAST, clever and smart. They didn’t fuel the chaos. They redirected it. With humor, restraint, and a clear point of view. That’s hard to pull off, especially when you're in the middle of the storm. ?? to Leo Zheng and his team for meeting the moment!
100% agree. A crisis PR masterclass. Whatever they were going to do, or not do, they would have taken heavy fire, so kudos to them for being bold and acting lighting fast (and executing the creative well). Feel a bit more empowering than hiding and hoping the news cycle moves on. :)

I'm hesitant to comment but I'll step into the breach. I thought the concept was good. I thought the framing/set was so-so, but I get it. I thought the principal was good. I thought the script was stripped/lacking. It appears most are seeing it as a Home Run. I see it more as a Double. Don't get me wrong, doubles are good hits. ...and with another at bat, a double can score and potentially lead to a big win. Live Long & Market, River
