This week on Qualified at the Intersection, we trace the dangerous thread from a controversial jeans commercial to something far more alarming: the normalization of eugenics in American political life.
?? CBS agreed to install a bias monitor as part of its merger with Skydance, a chilling move designed to police dissent rather than protect equity.
?? Meanwhile, DEI is being reframed as unfair. But who gets to decide what’s “fair”? Under this administration, “fairness” means demoting qualified Black leaders and rewarding unqualified loyalty.
?? That’s why I launched The Zora Project—to triage the harm and preserve the stories of Black women being pushed out of the workplace.
?? While people debated a Sydney Sweeney jeans ad, the real gene controversy has gone ignored: Trump has repeatedly invoked the racehorse theory, a Nazi-era concept of genetic superiority.
?? Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Marc Andreessen are pushing similar ideas—from “spreading their DNA” to promoting a new ideology called the Dark Enlightenment, where democracy is for the few, and the rest of us submit.
This is not fringe. This is organized, strategic, and already in motion.

4 天前Excellent video. I am in the belly of the beast. SF is overrun with eugenicists, and there are so many connections to AI. Listening to you speak made me think about the work DAIR is doing to make these connections visible. I think Timnit Gebru would be a great person for your to reach out to for your Zora Project.
